The Environmental Committee reviews legislation impacting environmental concerns.  The committee has created policy positions in the areas of waste, recycling and alternative forms of energy development.  The committee has participated in a number tours in these impacted areas; most recently, the committee toured a landfill and a recycling center. The Environmental Committee meets the fourth Thursday of each month at noon in the offices of the Chamber.
