The Health and Wellness Committee of the Santa Clarita Valley hosted the first Health and Wellness Fair for the valley in January of 2009.  The event was considered to be a colossal success with a fully sold-out venue and a crowd in excess of 1,500 area consumers. 

Nearly all forms of health screening were available to area citizens at the 2009 event and plans are set to have even more health related screenings available in 2010.  The Health Fair is scheduled to once again be held at the College of the Canyons. This year's fair will be held on February 20, 2010.  The event will be located in the gymnasium of the College’s sports facility, which will hold more health related vendors than last year's venue. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
