Online Promotions
The Chamber's website offers members several opportunities to promote their businesses. Our new, easy-to-use online directory gives members visibility to other businesses, as well as the general public. Listings are provided at no charge and members may list their businesses in multiple categories. Also available exclusively to members is the Chamber Calendar. Members are welcome and encouraged to list their upcoming events and programs, all at no charge.
For those who are looking to take full advantage of the Chamber's promotional opportunities, banner advertising is available. This is a great avenue for businesses that are interested in driving traffic to their website, or simply gaining exposure and name recognition. Print Promotions
Every year, the Chamber publishes the Santa Clarita Valley Business Directory. This professionally designed and printed publication has become an excellent resource for businesses and members of the community. What makes the directory particularly valuable is that it includes listings (with full contact information) of Chamber members only! Listings are complimentary and over 7,000 copies of the book are distributed annually. Advertising opportunities are available.
In addition to providing the community with a business directory, the Chamber also publishes an annual Map of Santa Clarita. While the map is a complete guide to the Santa Clarita Valley, the businesses identified on the map are Chamber members only. Advertising opportunities are available.
The Chamber also publishes the Valley Business News, a monthly business magazine that is about business and business opportunities available in the Santa Clarita Valley. The publication reaches approximately 5,000 persons each month. The Valley Business News is an excellent advertising source for Chamber members. Networking Opportunities
The Chamber hosts several networking programs that are open to members only. Among them are the monthly Business After Hours mixer, Good Morning SCV breakfast, and Get Acquainted meetings.
Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings
The Chamber is pleased to offer ribbon cutting ceremonies to its members to increase their visibility to the public. Whether it's to celebrate the opening of a new business, a re-grand opening of an existing business, or an anniversary celebration, the Chamber is available to help you promote your event. Ribbon Cuttings are $100 and include a Chamber plaque, certificates from City and State officials, and recognition in the Valley Business News (photo included).
Member-to-Member Flyer Program
The Chamber has a monthly direct mail flyer package that goes to over 1,500 members. This is an effective and inexpensive way to promote your event or business to other Chamber members. Simply bring us your flyers by the 15th of the month, along with a payment of $250, and we will ensure that your business gets noticed!
Committees
Members may participate in any of our many active, dynamic committees, covering a wide range of interests. For more information, please see our Committees page.
Referrals
Only our members are referred in response to inquiries from tourists, individuals looking to relocate, students, local residents, and the business community.
Promotional Displays
Only our members can display their business cards and promotional materials in the Chamber lobby. This offers exposure to thousands of people yearly.
Relocation Packets
Approximately 100 packets, including member information, are distributed each month.
Membership Mailing Labels
The Chamber offers a complete listing of its members, to Chamber members only, for direct mail purposes. Pre-printed labels are available for $150 and discs can be purchased for $300.
Meeting Room Rental
The Chamber offers its members the use of its meeting rooms for an hourly fee. Please contact the Chamber staff for details.
Certificate of Origin
The Chamber will provide free Certificates of Origin to our members.
Resource Center
Information resources are available at the Chamber. Examples include community demographics, local and area phone directories, a community calendar, a list of clubs and organizations, OSHA regulations, SBA publications and more.
